Membership
Membership in the Technology Division of SkillsUSA--Arizona is by
school chapters. A teacher at each campus would request
membership for the school year and all students registered in
that teacher’s program(s) would become members for the one-year
fee of $25.00. Four additional teachers at each site can
be listed on the school’s annual membership. This fee is
renewable each year. The membership form is located
here and also in the Forms section of this publication. The
membership year is September 1st to August 31st.
Technology Division – Level 1 Programs
The Technology Division (Level 1 Programs) was created to serve
the needs of our younger members. Membership is only valid in
the State of Arizona. SkillsUSA--Arizona’s Level 1 Programs are
aligned with the State of Arizona’s Career and Technical
Education programs.
Level 1,
which is designed for grades 7 and 8 is the exploratory level.
It represents a core of academic and technical competencies that
support all occupations and career exploration for all interest
areas. These competencies may also be taught at the high school
level.
