Conference Attire
Clothing NOT Permitted Option #1 Option #2 Option #3 Order Polo-style Shirts

Conference attire encompasses all Arizona and National SkillsUSA conferences. Students and advisors are expected to dress appropriately while attending a professional association conference or event.

THIS POLICY DOES NOT APPLY TO THE CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS LISTED IN THE SKILLSUSA TECHNICAL STANDARDS (revised annually). It is simply a policy to explain the expected clothing at the events listed below.

The Board of Directors--teachers from your regions--have discussed conference attire at length and after much debate a policy was developed. The intent of the policy is to provide students with an understanding of the importance of an employee's appearance in the workplace. Although employee attire varies from job to job and company to company, with some basic information your students can make informed decisions regarding their clothing selections for nearly any event.

During the June 4, 2004 Board of Directors meeting, the following policy was implemented regarding Conference Attire:

All students and advisors will be in proper Conference Attire for the following events:
  ► Fall Leadership Conference
► SkillsUSA--Arizona Championships, Opening and Awards Sessions (Please note the following. Click here)
