  Board of Directors
 
The Board of Directors represent the Advisors who have joined SkillsUSA. Each Board Member is responsible for a variety of activities that are related to the state association and their specific region, including:

  ►  Attend all Board meetings (typically five per year)
  ►  Provide a date and location for the Region Election
  ►  Overseeing regional officer election activities
  ►  Appointing the Regional Advisor
  ►  Overseeing the activities of the Regional Officers
  ►  Organizing the Regional Skill Competition
  ►  Presiding over Regional Advisor meetings
  ►  Gathering Regional information and reporting this information to the Board
  ►  General promoting of SkillsUSA activities
  ►  Reporting to Regional Advisors regarding the activities of the Board and the state association
  ►  Assisting the state director with regional business.
  ►  Assist new SkillsUSA advisors within the Region
At the beginning of each fiscal year, the Board self-selects who will serve as President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer for a one year term.
