Use the SkillsUSA Technical Standards as preparation guides, not as definitive contest guides. Instead, follow any specifics issued by your regional coordinator.

For the following contests, you must qualify at the regional level in order to advance to the State Leadership & Skills Conference:

  • Automotive Service Technology

  • Carpentry

  • Crime Scene Investigation

  • Criminal Justice

  • Photography

  • Television (Video) Production

  • Video News Production

  • Welding

  • Welding Fabrication
